Justin Smith Architects are a young, fresh & modern Interdisciplinary Practice who are committed to the highest standards of design and service.

We realise that it is our clients who pay the bills therefore we are very focused on our clients needs and requirements and analyse these fully before commencing any project.

As a practice we have no pre-conceived ideas. All enquiries are carefully considered on their own merits. We believe this is demonstrated in our portfolio section, which displays a diverse range, but demonstrates a consistent level of quality.

 

 

 

We are ARB Registered

The Architects Registration Board (ARB) was established by an Act of Parliament, the Architects Act, in 1997. 

The ARB is the independent statutory regulator of all UK registered architects. To be legally entitled to use the word ‘Architect’, you must be registered with the ARB. The ARB has a dual mandate to protect the consumer and to safeguard the reputation of architects. To maintain our registration with the ARB we have to adhere to their strict code of conduct.

We are RIBA Chartered Architects

The Royal Institute of British Architect’s (RIBA) role is to advance architecture by demonstrating the benefit to society and promoting excellence in the profession. Justin Smith Architects had been a RIBA registered practice since their inception. On the 1st July 2007 the RIBA introduced their Chartered Practice Scheme. The scheme was introduced to provide clients with the reassurance that practices are committed to providing an excellent service.  We met the qualifying criteria on the introduction of the scheme.

The qualifying criteria ensures that all architectural work is carried out under the supervision of a chartered architect; that a quality management system is in place; a health and safety policy and employment policy is in place; a CPD framework is in place; and all practices carry professional indemnity insurance. To maintain our Chartered Status, we have to adhere to the RIBA’s code of conduct.

 

 

Our Quality Commitment

Justin Smith Architects run an in-house quality management system which is applied to each project without exception. We had our system in place long before it became a requirement of the RIBA Chartered Practice Scheme. We have a commitment to quality which runs right through the company from the way we conduct ourselves; through the design of projects to the delivery of our service.
